Update information on the novel coronavirus in Hubei on November 17, 2020
No new case of COVID-19 was found in Hubei on November 17. Yesterday saw no new suspected case and no new death. One COVID-19 patient was discharged ( the patient was on board flight AI1314 from New Delhi to Wuhan).
No asymptomatic case was found in Hubei on November 17. No asymptomatic case developed to the ed one. Six patients had been discharged from quarantine (the patients were on board flight AI1314 from New Delhi to Wuhan). 19 asymptomatic patients were under medical quarantine (all are imported cases. 16 were from India on Flight AI1314 from New Delhi to Wuhan. two cases were from Indonesia on Flight SJ3124 from Jakarta to Wuhan; one case on Flight CA722 from Minsk, Belarus to Hohhot). 228 close contacts are under medical quarantine (14 were on board the Flight AI1314 from New Delhi to Wuhan on October 30; 98 were on board Flight SJ3124 from Jakarta to Wuhan on November 6; 86 were close contacts of ed cases or asymptomatic cases that were on board Flight SJ3124 from Jakarta to Wuhan on November 13; and 27 were close contacts of asymptomatic carriers who returned to Hubei after completion of quarantine period. Those asymptomatic cases were on board flight CA722 from Minsk, Belarus to Hohhot on October 16; three were close contacts of asymptomatic carrier from other province).
There are 8 ed cases and no suspected case currently (all are imported cases. Four from India on Flight AI1314 from New Delhi to Wuhan on October 30; four from Indonesia on Flight SJ3124 from Jakarta to Wuhan on November 6; one from Indonesia on Flight SJ3124 from Jakarta to Wuhan on November 13. All patients are receiving treatment in designated medical institution). As of 24:00, November 17, a total of 63,628 patients were cured and discharged from the hospital. 4,512 people died of the disease. 68,148 cumulative ed cases of COVID-19 had been reported in Hubei province.
